A gentle next step

Life's biggest moments deserve more than a ceremony read from a script. They deserve someone who takes the time to know you, to understand what matters, and to make the occasion feel unmistakably yours. As a local Mornington Peninsula celebrant, that is exactly what I bring to every wedding, naming, and funeral I have the privilege to lead. I am not just an authorised civil celebrant, I am a people person, and I specialise in bringing people together for the moments that stay with us forever.

Whether you are planning a joyful celebration or a heartfelt farewell, here is why so many local families trust me to help mark the milestones that matter most.

Key takeaways

  • I offer warm, personalised celebrant services for weddings, naming ceremonies, and funerals across the Mornington Peninsula.
  • Every ceremony is tailored to you, with no restrictions and no hidden fees.
  • I draw on 29 years of rich life and work experience to connect authentically with people from all walks of life.
  • As an authorised civil celebrant, I can legally marry you and guide you through the paperwork.
  • Born and raised on the Peninsula, I am a genuine local who welcomes and respects everyone I work with.

What does a civil celebrant do?

A civil celebrant is an authorised professional who creates and leads personal ceremonies to mark life's key moments, such as weddings, baby namings, and funerals. Rather than following a fixed religious format, a celebrant tailors each ceremony to your wishes, beliefs, and story, and in the case of weddings, oversees the legal requirements so your marriage is properly recognised.

In short, a celebrant helps you mark a milestone in a way that feels true to you. It is a role that blends warmth and personality with professionalism and care, so the day feels both meaningful and completely in safe hands.

Why choose me

Choosing a celebrant is a personal decision, and I believe the connection matters just as much as the credentials. Here is what I bring to yours.

I draw on 29 years of diverse professional and life experience, from running businesses in the fashion industry for two decades, to raising my beautiful daughter Isabella, to serving as a professional carer for the elderly at Mt Eliza Terraces. Every one of those roles taught me how to connect with people genuinely, calmly, and with real heart. That is the difference you feel when we work together.

I am also a worldly traveller who welcomes and respects the diversity of every person I work with. Whatever your background, beliefs, or story, you will be met with warmth and without judgement.

It is worth knowing you are far from alone in choosing a celebrant. According to the Australian Institute of Family Studies, drawing on ABS data, around 83 per cent of Australian marriages in 2024 were conducted by civil celebrants. More and more families are choosing the freedom, personalisation, and heart that a celebrant-led ceremony offers, and that is exactly what I love to provide.

My celebrant services

I am proud to offer professional celebrant services for a variety of occasions across the Mornington Peninsula. Here is how I can help.

Weddings

As an authorised civil celebrant, I can legally marry you, and I strive to offer every couple the ultimate sense of comfort and joy with no restrictions. I help you with each phase of your ceremony, from the words to the flow of the day, guiding you through the legal documents along the way. The one part I always leave to you is the most personal of all, your wedding vows, because those words should come straight from your heart. The result is a celebration that feels relaxed, joyful, and completely yours.

Naming ceremonies

Welcoming a new baby, or marking a change of name, is a beautiful moment worth celebrating. I offer symbolic baby naming ceremonies and symbolic name change ceremonies to honour these special milestones with warmth and meaning. It is a lovely way to gather the people you love and formally welcome a little one, or a new chapter, into the world. Please note that as I am not ordained, I do not offer baptisms, but a symbolic naming ceremony can be every bit as meaningful and personal.

Funerals

Saying goodbye is never easy, and I am here to gently support you and your loved ones through a funeral ceremony. I take the time to learn about the person you have lost, crafting a heartfelt farewell that honours their life, values, and passions. Delivered with warmth, dignity, and compassion, it is a chance to celebrate a life fully lived and to find comfort in coming together. You can lean on me to carry the details, so your family can simply be present.

Personal ceremonies and honest pricing

I believe that no two ceremonies should ever be the same, so I personalise my services to the people I serve. Whatever is most important to you, my job is to accommodate it and make your occasion extra special.

I am also dedicated to keeping my services genuinely accessible, with affordable, transparent rates. At the time of writing, my standard packages are AU$650 plus GST for weddings, AU$650 plus GST for funerals, and AU$300 plus GST for naming ceremonies. If you have special requests, I am always happy to discuss how to customise your ceremony, and while additional costs may apply for extra services we agree on together, I will never surprise you with hidden fees or unexpected charges. For the most current pricing, it is always worth a quick chat.

A true local who knows the Peninsula

Born and raised on the Mornington Peninsula, I am a proud local who understands and loves this community. I am pleased to serve families throughout the region, including Frankston, Mornington, Mount Martha, Cranbourne, Langwarrin, and the surrounding areas.

There is something special about being guided through a milestone by someone who knows your part of the world, and I bring that local warmth to every ceremony. Wherever you are across the Peninsula, I would be delighted to come to you.

What every ceremony I create has in common

Weddings, namings, and funerals may be very different occasions, but the way I approach them shares the same heart. Whatever the moment, I begin by listening. I want to understand the people involved, the story behind the day, and what will make it feel authentic and true to you.

From there, every ceremony I lead carries the same three things: careful personalisation, so nothing feels generic or off the shelf; warmth and genuine presence, so you feel supported rather than processed; and calm professionalism, so the practical details are handled and you can simply enjoy or reflect on the moment. That consistency is what gives families confidence, whether they are marking the happiest day of their lives or the hardest. No matter the occasion, you can expect the same care, the same attention, and the same authentic heart from start to finish.
